Question 45-Antichrist's Deadly Wound?
Pre-Trib says the Last Day Antichrist will receive a, "Deadly Wound" that will kill him, then he'll be revived and continue his Satanic rule. This sounds fine on the surface, but a careful study into all of the Prophecies about Antichrist reveals that the "Time times and half a time" used by Daniel and John is not a literal 3 1/2 years. As with Daniel's 70 Week prophecy, the time must be converted from "Days to Years." In our Website, "Daniel's 70 Week Prophecy" we prove that Antichrist cannot be confined into a time period of 7 years just before or after Jesus comes. In our Website, "Antichrist's Church" we show from Bible Prophecy that Satan sabotaged the Early Church, turning it into the very Antichrist.

The Deadly Wound
If we accept the fact that every prophecy about Antichrist before his Deadly Wound has been completely fulfilled during a 1260 year time period starting in 538 AD and ending in 1798 AD, it becomes clear that Antichrist already received his deadly wound in 1798 AD. That wound is presently being healed. The Bible clearly outlines the work of Antichrist, including the fact that the Church, in its Apostate condition during the Dark Ages, IS Antichrist. In 1798, Napoleon sent his General Berthiar to arrest the Pope. The General did, and took him to France where the Pope died in exile. This Deadly Wound stopped the Church from performing the horrible deeds it had been doing for 1260 years. Someday soon there will arise a New World Church that will be run by Antichrist and it will, "Exercise all the Power of the first Beast" (Rev.13:12)! The Deadly Wound will be completely healed and Satan will be given his last opportunity to demonstrate that his way is best! Of course it will be the "Worst Time of Trouble in the History of our Planet" (See Matt.24:21)!

The activities of Antichrist in his role in the "New World Order Church" are spelled out in detail by John and Daniel. If we simply study the prophecies, we can know how Antichrist will function after his "Deadly Wound" is healed! Would it not be essential that we know it?

How Satan Will Use Antichrist
All the confusion about Antichrist's activities and timing is very advantageous for Satan. In fact, we can be certain Satan causes confusion, because if we all knew exactly how and when Antichrist will work, Satan would be at a serious disadvantage. Following is a possible, maybe probable, scenario that Satan may use in his last-day delusion in which he will set up Antichrist to be worshiped by "the whole world" (Rev.13:3). Through the years since Jesus left His Disciples to establish His Church, Satan has develop many various false interpretations of Last-Day Bible Prophecies. His purpose is to delay the Second Coming of Jesus. This delay is not his only purpose however. Setting up his last-day delusion is Satan's REAL purpose. If the whole world is looking for an ugly and evil character who openly opposes God and Jesus, Satan is pleased!
He could then devise a bumbling Buffoon to appear on the world scene and appear to set himself up as a world Political and Religious leader. He could even achieve some success. Satan could even arrange for someone to literally kill this Fake Antichrist, shot him in the head, thus the "Deadly Wound," and a day or so later, have him suddenly revived. Wouldn't be a problem for Satan because this Fake Antichrist would probably be a Demon impersonating a man. Then, suddenly, from out of nowhere, another man appears and deposes that Antichrist and takes over. But this man is not ugly and evil looking! He appears to be kind and gentile. This World Leader reverses all of the evil schemes of his predecessor! He promotes world peace and performs "great signs and wonders" (Matt.24:24). Jesus said these "signs and wonders" will be so convincing that even the very Elect would be fooled, if God allowed it.

Now we do not say this is the exact way Satan will do it. But, for sure, Satan has a plan that will fool every person on earth, except God's Elect. Now let's look at what Paul said about the last day delusion of Antichrist: Thus Satan must devise a master plan to make it appear that the real Antichrist is a good, God fearing, world leader that genuinely wants what is best for earth's inhabitants.

"Strong Delusions" In 2 Thessalonians 2, Paul gave his most complete description of Antichrist and the Second Coming of Jesus. He made it clear that Jesus would not come to take His people to Heaven before Antichrist performed his evil deceptions. Paul warned about Antichrist's delusions with the following. Like Jesus, Paul said Antichrist would be using "all power and signs and lying wonders" (2Thess.2:9)!

"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the TRUTH, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusions that they should believe a LIE (Underscore "a LIE"); That they all might be damned who believed not the TRUTH, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2Thess.10-12)! This is Paul's most profound explanation as to why Satan is so successful at getting the masses to believe and proclaim false information about Antichrist and Last-Day Events.

"A Lie"
Since Paul's whole point in the above text is Satan and Antichrist, when he wrote about, "a lie," the "lie" he refers to is not just any lie, but "Antichrist's Lie!"  Paul's message is, if we refuse Bible Truth, and "Have pleasure in unrighteousness," God cannot send His Holy Spirit to present Truth to us. And THERE, Dear Pastor, is where we must separate ourselves from the pack! We must examine our hearts! Are we eager for Truth from the Bible, Or do we take "pleasure in unrighteousness." 

Antichrist's Lie
We suggest that Antichrist's Lie is his Mark of the Beast, which is attempting to "Change God's Law" (Dan.7:25).

Real Antichrist against False Antichrist
We gave an example above how Satan could use a Fake Antichrist, a bumbling Buffoon, then bring on the real Antichrist who deposes and replaces him. If this Fake Antichrist matches the one we see in the popular books and movies produced by Rapture promoters, Satan would be well on his way setting up his Last Day Delusion. 

 Earthly Millennial Kingdom
It's highly possible that this Real Antichrist could be a man totally possessed by Satan himself, or even Satan in the form of a man. However, the real Antichrist could claim to be Christ Himself. This Antichrist could claim he is here to set up his "Earthly Millennial Kingdom;" the Kingdom promoted by our Preachers. Almost all major religions of the World have within their Eschatology (End of the World doctrines), an evil Antichrist type world Leader who they claim will be defeated by a "Messiah" who defeats the Powers of Darkness and the evil Leader, then sets up a Kingdom here on earth. As you know, Pastor, almost all Christian Denominations teach there'll be a 1000 year earthly Kingdom. Jesus said that when He returns, it'll not be to set up a Kingdom here on earth, but He comes to take His people to Heaven. "I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again to receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also" (Jn.14:2-3)!
